Project Update | HHMAX-901 Device Formation Zone Vacuum Sealing Performance Verified as Qualified

With the comprehensive completion of the base renovation for HHMAX (Chengdu) Technology Co., Ltd.’s fusion device facility, the installation and construction phase of the HHMAX-901 device has commenced, with all building work progressing in an orderly fashion. Recently, the project successfully completed the foundational installation of the bilateral formation zones and related commissioning. All test results are qualified, meeting the anticipated design goals.

Following the full completion of the base renovation in mid-June, HHMAX rapidly advanced the installation work for the HHMAX-901 device. After completing the main structural assembly of the bilateral formation zones, the R&D team immediately proceeded with relevant testing and verification experiments for the device’s formation zones. After comprehensive testing and experimental verification, the project team confirmed that the design of the bilateral formation zones is reasonable and meets the overall requirements, namely:

  • The vacuum sealing performance of the formation zones is qualified. The vacuum level meets the technical targets, and the seal structure design is reasonable.
  • The relevant main structures and supporting infrastructure systems meet the design requirements, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent assembly of the device and future experiments.

Moving forward, the HHMAX R&D team and relevant partners will continue to work collaboratively, pooling wisdom and efforts, to rapidly advance the construction of the entire device. This will ensure the HHMAX-901 device is completed as soon as possible, enabling the initiation of related experiments.
